Pros
Flexible schedule, I have been able leave early/ come in late if needed. Small team means there is a family environment. I have also had a lot of autonomy over my work which has helped me be successful in my role
Cons
The pay is horrible. It is below even industry standard. They have recognized it, but aren't doing much to support it. They are driving up the requirements to increase the pay, but that means those people are underpaid. There is also a huge discrepancy in pay. People doing the same thing in other divisions are making more. This stems from a lack of support from leadership. Leadership can go against HR to negotiate your pay, but they won't in this division. There is favoritism across the division as well. Some departments see way more support than others. The president has also been in his role way longer than industry standard so no new vision.
