Pros
Milan is almost a good company, with a strong emphasis on accreditation compliance. Employees at the campus level care about students. Company does offer an ESOP program. They've had some success & campus growth during difficult times.
Cons
Milan espouses five core values but does not expect it's executive team to abide by them. The executive leadership has extremely poor listening skills. Campuses are micro-managed in an unhealthy way. There is no respect or trust for even the best employees. Employees are expected to handle more duties than can possibly be performed. Pay is as low as it gets in the post secondary education sector. Employees who communicate honestly (as asked to do) are punished for their forthrightness. When it comes to promotion, performance is less important than blindly obeying executive leadership. No one dares to question the CEO. Absolutely no loyalty to hard-working employees. Executive leadership appears to be unwilling to learn, grow, or even acknowledge that they haven't got all the answers.
