-No sense of solid and consistent leadership. Since 2020, leadership on the Merck side has undergone a reorganization every few years. As a result, business areas have no consistent leadership.
-As business areas are on the decline, Merck leaders rotate out as people get laid off.
-When new leadership rotates in, they have to play a lot of catch up and learn what Millipore does in the U.S. This also changes future direction.
-Leadership seems out-of-touch with what is exactly happening.
-Compensation is below market value.
