Pros
Good people, but almost all had left. One, if not the only traditional media that still has the guts to report some news “against” the government.
Cons
They do downplays what’s important in the news in order to dodge the red lines - which is understandable in the current circumstances but might make it less appealing (if not frustrating) to fresh graduates or experienced practitioner who still wants to “make some changes/impact” to the society as journalists. Let alone its SUPER underpaid salaries, poor company location, poor employee benefit, LONG working hours (10hrs) plus the toxic “OT culture” which is already well-known in the industry for long. Many (including myself sadly) are still working here just because they’re waiting for another job. Avoid at all costs I would say. You can see many job postings from this company and they are there for reasons.
