Overworked and high turnover - Case Manager Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance Employee Review

Pros

Flexible schedule and ability to work from home. Fellow case managers are enjoyable to work with and helpful.

Cons

BIA overworks their case managers with large caseloads and high unit expectations. Even on days with mandatory trainings and meetings, the unit expectation is the same despite it limiting your hours to get the work done. This also applies if the computers or phone lines go down and when completing unbillable work. Case managers are forced to concentrate on quantity over quality. Upper management doesn’t step in to help or relieve case managers during times of need. Concerns, ideas, solutions etc fall on deaf ears.
