Pros
- Most employees can work from anywhere remotely. - The overall pay is good + PTO was flexible. - Work with leading technology. - All of the mid-level management (team-leads) are awesome. They are super friendly and a great resource for knowledge. - The senior management deserves a bit more credit. Both are friendly and I never had any particular issues with them. They seemed to be out of the loop sometimes which caused issues and longer meetings, but I saw them try to improve on this. - Pro/Con: You can be asked to do some work under similar, but different roles; overall benefited me.
Cons
- No up-to-date documentation and no proper training made it extremely difficult to understand the complex system being worked on. - Stability: I saw quite a number of people leave after not receiving the work we thought we get. - Never felt like one team despite being a small company; members of different teams had little to no interactions.
