Pros
Nice food most days at work
Cons
The pay could be higher
Pros
Mob has a genuinely creative and mission-driven culture. People care about what they’re building, and there’s a real sense of collaboration across teams. You get the chance to work on meaningful projects that reach a large audience, and ideas are encouraged no matter your role. The company has grown a lot but still feels small enough that you can make a noticeable impact. Leadership is approachable and there’s a strong emphasis on learning and doing work that ladders up to clear goals.
Cons
Like any fast-moving startup, things can shift quickly, and priorities change often. It can feel intense at times if you’re not comfortable with ambiguity or fast decision-making. Some processes are still maturing as the company scales, but that’s part of the stage it’s in.
Pros
Mob is a fast paced learning environment and has a good energy overall. You get a chance to feel as if you are making an impact within a small team, and most employees are wonderful and take care of one another. Good work-life balance.
Cons
I wouldn't have given this 1 star if I hadn't seen 3 reviews from members of the company that have clearly been asked to try and balance out the numbers because they're struggling to hire. This sums up Mob's style; digging for data that suits them, asking employees to write good reviews to help boost their reputation, and lacking the foresight to avoid the issue in the first place. My experience at mob was a 3 star experience. SLT constantly pivoted their priorities, failed to listen to other members of the company, rarely did things by the book, and unceremoniously laid off teams when they decided to go in a new direction. Mob has unfortunately done irreparable damage to it's reputation within the industry. There are the 'old' mob employees, and the 'new' mob employees. If you are part of the former, your role and the way you are treated are guaranteed to be positive. However, find yourself in the latter and it's a 50/50 chance whether your personality blends with them and they accept you into their clique.
