While we do have high expectations of all of our employees, we also actively encourage a work/life balance and believe that we all need to take time off for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation, especially with our families and loved ones. We encourage reps to take regular PTO, and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have held wellness check-ins designed to focus purely on employee experience, both in and outside of work, including providing several company-wide days off on top of regular company holidays and PTO.
Our sales culture is focused on career development. Accounts are assigned based on a variety of factors and driven by merit, with managers devoting significant time to territory planning including reallocating accounts as needed to ensure all reps have an equitable opportunity to find success in their patch. Additionally, we have a dedicated team within MongoDB solely focused on Territory Management and Account Mapping. Many of our managers were previously successful sellers at MongoDB and are excited to teach, coach, and develop others in their footsteps. Continuing to develop our people to be even better managers is a top priority for us.
