Senior management is focused on growth and driven by investor input. This comes without thinking about quality of the existing offering, does not take user feedback and research into account, and decisions are made selfishly and emotionally. They have recently not been paying suppliers on time or employee salaries on time. Some employees have had missing pension payments for a few months. These are supposed to be temporary issues during finding new investors but the employees weren't communicated to and some people have had delayed salary for a couple of months.
The senior management don't seem concerned with listening to what employees suggest the focus should be in order to get the product a higher quality for the users. They also interfere in the agile structure the teams use for prioritization. Although we have sprint plans, they come in and ask us to do something else based on what they're most concerned about that day.
