Pros

Moog is the best company I have ever worked for. Our founder had a desire not to be being managed, directed, and controlled. If you are a bulldozer, don't apply. Moog is a long run company where creativity runs deep in its success-based people centric culture. Technology development, flexibility, ownership, stability, and team successes are all rewards of working at Moog.

Cons

Getting in is hard. Not enough career grades. Processes are still built into people. It can take years to achieve contribution knowledge and responsibilities. Growth and technical solution definition gaps can create technical work scope management and business management conflict(s). If support and external sources of success and recognition are important to you then Moog's environment can be challenging.

Pros

Good Health Benefits, and 401K

Cons

Although Moog promotes an unlimited PTO policy and emphasizes work-life balance, the actual execution is highly inconsistent and depends heavily on management. Some managers are supportive, while others induce guilt, leading to a culture where employees either underutilize their time or feel uncertain about expectations. Furthermore, compensation lags behind the market average, and internal career growth feels stagnant rather than actively supported.
