Pros
The nurses (inpatient and out), house coordinator and manager of unit are willing help out, everyone gets along great, usually always a mellow day..great management, cross-training, there is a lot of experience to gain if you are new to the game.
Cons
Sometimes you are the only employee that is willing to pick up shifts or hours, not so much experience to gain OR wise, sometimes there isn't much work for a contingent employee if they have extra time due to being such a small county hospital and transfers a lot of pt's out, but you'll have that of course.
