Pros

The interview process was quick and well-structured, consisting of three rounds that each lasted approximately one hour. Each round focused on different areas of RF design, and I found every interviewer to be both friendly and highly professional. Prior to applying for the position, I served as a contractor at Motorola Solutions within the RF department. After working with the team for a few months, they encouraged me to apply for a full-time role. My work ethic, independence, and responsibility were well-regarded and contributed to my hiring.

Cons

Work hours often vary significantly, and there is a prevailing culture of staying late in the office to meet project milestones. Additionally, as team members become deeply involved in their respective tasks, guidance can become limited.

Pros

I highly value the autonomy I am given to manage my own workload, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with several of my talented colleagues.

Cons

That independence comes at a cost. The company is incredibly disorganized and siloed. Management will force lateral moves on you without asking; I've ended up balancing four different roles with absolutely no pay increase. Requests for fair compensation compared to the peers I trained were completely ignored. Territories change constantly, but zero training is provided. You are essentially left entirely on your own to figure it out.

Thanks for your review. We regularly review employee compensation to make sure it is competitive with local market practices in the industries and countries where we operate. Additionally, all Motorola Solutions employees participate in an annual incentive plan or a sales incentive plan. That said, we appreciate your feedback and have made a note of it.
