Pros
Great work/life balance. Nice people, no conflict. Good people to work with. Great gym in the facilities. Great cafeteria. Great free coffee and milk.
Cons
No upward mobility in the technical track, unless someone gets laid off or there is a restructuring. If you are under H1B visa, they will try to play with the system and apply for you under EB3 category regardless of your experience level. Also, once they fill out for your GC application they will retain your pay grade (with little to no salary increase) and job title for years (10+) and not allowed for promotion or switch to another group unit for higher pay grade until you get your green card. Then, it will be too late for you to jump or to get a better salary. Be aware if you are a foreigner and fit into this category. Aging workers just getting to be whacked. Pay is little. Resources are being cut, technology is also being cut, and programs applications/softwares/licenses are also being cut... Everything is being cut back. Trying to do more with less... But, this is no good if you want to have innovation in your process.
