Pros
You have the chance to learn hi traffic tech. The offices are great. Compensations are good, just above the market. There are great developers you can learn from. Hi management in latam office has last than a year or two of experience and they do constantly newbie mistakes.
Cons
Extreamly focussed on results, if you get them lot of money you are great, as soon as you have them just good money you are crap. Nepotism is growing exponentially. If you are not working on Brazil office and you are in tecnology, you don't exist. If things are ok commercials win a lot of bonusses and prizes, if things are bad everybody else has the fault. Management asks you to not expend in training or equipment and they use company money to pay expensive "recreation" activities. To be part of the cuture you have to be alcoholic. The only thing that keep things going is that they luckly found a gold mine and they have the vision to exploit it, other verticals are draining company money.
