Pros
- I enjoyed working with many of my colleagues. There was a lot of camaraderie and I made new friends that I would be happy to work with again someday. - I was able to work with interesting technologies and quickly contribute to ongoing projects in a meaningful way. - I believe the office has a well-defined mission and I'm optimistic about its financial success in the long term.
Cons
I felt there was intense micromanagement, poor or nonexistent planning, unrealistic deadlines, a lack of transparency and communication, constantly shifting priorities, excessive technical debt, occasional mandatory overtime, low diversity, resistance to process improvement, pervasive internal politics, and multiple ineffective re-orgs.
