Pros
- Noble mission: trying to upskill and educate - Involved Leadership: senior leaders take interest and initiative to drive profits - Employee Friendly Policies on paper
Cons
- Very complex and rigid processes: Internal systems exist to simplify things but simple things such as business travel, vendor management etc take ages to be approved, right from the very top, and involve a non-user friendly interface - Yesman culture and politics: VPs and Presidents run their own fiefdoms but can't say anything critical to the founding leadership. The result is substandard output -- why NIIT has stopped being counted as a strong brand it once was.
