Pros

Money was good, and it was a set schedule unless the machines broke down, which wasn't always so bad because then you'd get to leave home early.

Cons

Standing in one spot for hours sucked. and the fact that it was 7 days a week unless otherwise. Plus we'd only get sundays off about once every couple weeks, maybe.

Pros

Overtime pay during the summer

Cons

High-stress level, difficulty receiving help when needed, unclear hierarchical structure (good luck figuring out who your supervisor is and how to contact them), expect to be thrown from one position to the next depending on the day. Little-to-no training but high expectations to "get it right." We're working with food, so quality and safety are priorities. You wouldn't know based on the level of help offered by higher-level roles, though.
