      Learning about the drilling industry, basic oil and gas, high profile clients, well rounded portfolio, very positive environment (when oil is up)

      Cons

      weak management system which was not really prepared for the downturn in oil, somewhat surprising since everyone knows how cyclical the industry can be

      Very work/life balance friendly. Very strong benefits package.

      Very Siloed. NOV is the result of over 100 acquisitions and the fractured condition of systems and procedures is evident. Leadership is working on it.
