Pros

Great benefits and perks. The company invests considerably in providing great health insurance, time off and additional benefits.

Cons

Poor leadership! COO approval is needed for every decision creating a bottle neck on the best days and breakdowns across the board most days. Employees lack trust with rumors of favoritism and vengeful employment practices. Most employees believe they are being spied on and set up by leadership to take the fall for their poor decisions. There is zero accountability at the C Level and the minute it is mentioned people seem to disappear without explanation. Bonus is a joke unless you are an executive.

Pros

It's a rapidly growing company and there are lots of opportunities to move up if you are a strong performer. They are investing in technology and resources to keep up with the growth. Pay is competitive, it's fully remote, and the benefits are some of the best I have had in my career, including a $225 monthly wellness benefit you can use for things like massages or a gym membership. My manager trusts me, listens to my input, and encourages me to suggest improvements.

Cons

If you need established processes, wait a few years to join the company. They are getting there but aren't there yet. I enjoy the challenge of building things but I understand that some people prefer routine and established work.

Pros

NSTXL operates in a space that serves a legitimate need within the government and defense sector. There are also some genuinely good people throughout the organization who work hard, care about what they do, and do their best despite the challenges around them.

Cons

Leadership appears to lack the experience and operational discipline needed to effectively scale and manage a growing organization. The COO has a significant influence on day-to-day operations, and many of the challenges within the organization can be traced back to inconsistent leadership, shifting priorities, and a lack of clear strategic direction. Decisions often feel reactive rather than strategic, resulting in frequent changes in focus and execution. As pressure increases, accountability can be inconsistent, and responsibility for challenges is sometimes shifted rather than owned, creating frustration for employees and leaders trying to execute against company objectives. There is also a noticeable perception of favoritism that has negatively affected trust and morale across parts of the organization. Until stronger leadership practices, clearer direction, and a greater emphasis on accountability are established, the company is likely to continue facing many of the same recurring challenges.
