Pros

Competitive salary. Travel and work out of the Google campus in Mountain View. Working directly with Google Maps sales team. Complete and receive Google Sales Academy credentials.

Cons

Commissions are low because they are tied to the margins from reselling Google Maps licenses. No commuter benefits. You have to use your own personal computer for work, no one is given a work computer. No cool office benefits. Travel to Google office is required but cost is not allowed to be expensed. Company office is 4 desks at the Runway Incubator located within the Twitter HQ. Very loud office setting which makes sales calls very difficult. Your personal cell phone is your office phone which is also not allowed to be expensed. Extreme micromanaging by CTO over the sales team even though CTO has no sales training nor sales experience.

Pros

The biggest draw is the opportunity to build and scale unique solutions for major global brands. Because of the company’s strategic partnerships, you aren't just working on internal projects—you’re solving complex, real-world challenges that have a direct impact on large-scale operations worldwide.

Cons

The role requires wearing many hats across sales and execution, often limiting high-level strategic focus. Because formal processes are still being defined, you must be comfortable creating the structure yourself and finding or building your own resources most of the time.

Pros

Great Team to work with. Highly knowledgeable and great support structure. Lot's of exposure to great opportunities.

Cons

The nature of being a Google partner requires lot's of interactions with Google FSRs who are hit or miss in terms of helpfulness/agreeableness. This can make or break deals and can many times be a great point of frustration.
