Pros

There's a lot to lean about advertising from the company, I did, I learned a lot. I've gained skills and the confidence to work with these people although management have been terrible to us. They belittle us the entire time and they were toxic work with.

Cons

I don't exactly understand how top management is handling this company but people are leaving even those in management positions! We are utterly understaffed and employees get constantly overworked all because the new staff who get hired left just after we trained them! Its not like we've got a designated trainer to train all new hires, but we trained them ourselves! And at the same time we also do our regular jobs, so we had to work two different roles at the same time which obviously won't be done in an 8 hour shift! So that means working overtime to get our real jobs done! Working here had been nothing but stressful, toxic and exhausting!!

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We appreciate the acknowledgment of the skills gained and the opportunity to learn about advertising while working here. Feedback is most effective when shared while employees are actively engaged, as it allows concerns to be addressed in real time and supports continuous improvement. The company continues to evolve to meet business needs and the needs of the associations we serve, and this includes regularly reviewing staffing, training, and operational practices. Naylor maintains a voluntary resignation rate that is significantly below the industry average. Our onboarding approach reflects a standard practice used by many organizations, where new hires are trained by experienced colleagues through day to day work. This model is intended to integrate training into regular responsibilities rather than create duplicative work, while supporting practical, hands on learning. Leadership remains focused on improving alignment, communication, and execution during periods of change, and we encourage current employees to use internal channels to raise concerns constructively and promptly.

Pros

- Management knows what they're doing and does a good job at getting interdepartmental projects done smartly - Lots of vacation time - Very good about remote work flexibility

Cons

- Annual performance reviews & raises were not a standardized company process during my time there. Raises were at the discretion of your direct manager - Smaller company means health insurance was lackluster. Would not recommend joining unless you can be on your spouse's health insurance coverage

Thank you for sharing your feedback and noting positives like project management, vacation time, and remote flexibility. Regarding performance reviews and raises, we follow a standardized annual review process. It’s possible there was a one-off where a review wasn’t completed during your 1–2 years with us, but consistency remains a priority. Providing the best benefits possible to employees and their families is always important to us. Healthcare changes nationwide have impacted small and mid-sized businesses like Naylor, but we strive to offer strong options while keeping them affordable. We did notice the job title and location listed don’t align with our records, making it hard to confirm context and focus on any specific concerns you mentioned. More detailed feedback would help us address concerns effectively, and we encourage employees to share issues with HR during their tenure. Your feedback is valued, and we wish you success in all your future pursuits.

Pros

Opportunities if you're assigned with a good territory.

Cons

- Competition is ruthless. - Colleagues become fiercely competitive and constantly clash over territories, stolen clients, and commissions. - The people responsible for this are management. - The unfair treatment and blatant favoritism were impossible to ignore. - Better territories were handed to favored employees while expecting everyone to hit the same targets.
