Pros
You get to own a lot and the camaraderie is strong among the engineering group. I really enjoy working with my managers and peers. Amenities in the new office are amazing, and engineering management is really making an effort to keep morale up. Flexible time scheduling and unlimited PTO is also encouraged
Cons
Leadership seems to be more reactive than proactive and slow to expand teams that are critically understaffed. Other employees will be asked to operate two roles without a title change or promotion and then at times are negatively reviewed for not showing more growth in their official title. Some will verbally claim that work life balance is encouraged. This is not true in the company's collective actions. There will be long nights but that's expected of any small private company or startup so this may not necessarily be a con for everyone.
