Pros
Laid back with no micro managing
Cons
Company is disorganized. The manager wasn’t engaged; she didn’t realize she was my manager for the duration of my employment until I put in my notice. The scheduler appeared great at first but turned out to rarely get tasks done. I ended up having to continue to ask and remind him about the same thing several times. As a job that is already stressful and time consuming, this added an unnecessary layer of stress. The handover of patients when I quit was horrible. Many times I would tell relay something that the office told me to the pt that then ended up not being true i.e. other clinicians covering my patients while away, a new PT taking over. Your always working with different PTs so its very hard to coordinate schedules with 3 other clinicians. They would also ask you to drive all over the place (60mins+) for a pt. They did compensate extra but for only semi-worth it if they can give you a few pts in that area which gets tricky when 1-2 of them cancel. BIGGEST THING: Your PTO time is paid per your admin rate which is nothing… maybe $15-20 an hour. So your loosing a lot of money when you take PTO. Should be illegal. Not a sustainable long term job. I’ve worked with many different HH companies and this one was by far the worse. Only take it if you plan to quit after the first couple months.
