Pros

Great team spirit, care and compassion from some areas of management, Neptune are loyal to existing employees, good opportunities to move around within business, bonus scheme, lovely working environment in HQ, investment in training is great.

Cons

As is probably the case with lots of companies owned by their founders, some of the decisions at Neptune that come down from the top are bizarre, often feel like we’re beholden to the vagaries and whims of the managing director who seems to value the opinions and advice of his family over the trained specialists he has hired. There are also lots of promises made at Neptune which often don’t come to fruition, and the pace of change is at times achingly slow and at other frantic. There are constant changes in the approach to the business that don’t seem to be well thought through (because they change again so quickly). Bit of a don’t question just do mentality. Pay not horrendous but could be better (and probably would be if Neptune HQ was set in a more competitive place like London).

Pros

Very few besides the dismal pay and nearly nonexistent hours.

Cons

There are many. Overworked, underpaid, never appreciated. Horribly run company that does not pay their techs consistently. The owners do not care about customers or employees.
