Pros

This is a great job if you’re willing to work. Pay is by the car, so the more cars you photograph, the more you make. Flexible hours are a plus if needed, but if you like regular hours (like me), then that’s okay too. A company car is provided, and gas is paid for, which is huge in my book since I make a 60 mile round trip commute every day. Pay is good as long as you’re willing to put the effort in. New management has recently taken over and addressed the major issues some others have commented about, such as bounced checks. This has not been a problem since new management took over, and I don’t expect it to be in the future. With that said, I only had two bounced checks since 2015, and they were both resolved within a week. This issue seems to have been resolved. Expect to get your daily excercise as well (I walk 5-7 miles per day). Three weeks of vacation available after four years of employment is a huge plus as well. Adding up all the pros vs the cons, this is the best job I’ve ever had and am happy to be with the company. No job is 5 star perfect, but my lifestyle has improved dramatically for taking this job, and I appreciate the opportunity to work here.

Cons

The major cons have to do with weather. Hot days in the summer and cold days in the winter. If you don’t mind working outside, dress appropriately for the temps, and bring a small ice chest and water for the summer, then no problem. Heavy rain also presents a problem as it keeps you from performing your job. Because of that, working on Saturdays is occasionally required. These are just typical cons that go along with many outside jobs. I do really wish direct deposit would be implemented, but I just deposit my checks via my mobile banking app, so it’s not too big of an issue. Also, dental insurance available via a company insurance plan would be wonderful.

Pros

Not many reasons to work here honestly besides a summer job to make a quick few bucks.

Cons

Ownership is terrible, that includes both the CEO and CFO/COO who care more about playing in their own sandbox and lining their own pockets rather than actually growing the company. No vision for growth as ownership doesnt want it to get big enough that they cant control every little detail. The Management team is not terrible, just down trodden with no real excitement due to their incapability to make any real moves and poor business decisions by ownership that trickle down. Want your paycheck on time without the fear of it bouncing? Don't work here then. Payroll has bounced on several occasions and management is always being told to hold their paychecks...seriously. Everything is usually disorganized (especially at the end) with no real management from the top. The good upper management we had all left, or were pushed out, a couple years ago due to the dictatorship at the corporate office. The corporate employees that are left just sit quietly and collect a "hope it goes through" paycheck. Forget sales or the non-existent product support team that has no clue what they are doing. Empty promises from ownership to get people to move and then no follow through with sales support or territory growth, leaving its employees severely financially unstable. I honestly feel sorry for myself having suffered through employment here as long as I did and most definitely feel for the employees that are still there hoping the company will somehow not close down due to the many years of bad business decisions.
