Pros
-Unlimited Income Potential -Time freedom- you will not be micromanaged -Great team atmosphere despite technically being an individual role -Excellent training and mentorship to help you get started quickly
Cons
No PTO/benefits/etc. "You eat what you kill." I have found that this is far outweighed by my earnings compared to that of most entry-level positions peers my age have. And while you don't get paid for your time off, you have the freedom to take that time off whenever you please. It is up to you to find the best balance between working hard and vacationing. While it is not required, the top agents typically work some odd and/or long hours. It is to your advantage to be willing/able to work nights and weekends if/when they are likely to lead to a paycheck.
