New technologies and expanding what technology does "off the shelf". NetXperts has a diverse customer base with many different aspects of networking technology. Wireless, Route/Switch, Security, Data Center... Vendor and technology training programs are provided (you are sent to attend or via webex), as well as a limited certification exam expense program is in place. If you want to learn, this is the place for it. The field engineering team is knowledgeable. The in-house staff is expanding along the right path. This is a place for careers. If you have a "go get'em" attitude, you will go very far. If you're expecting a list of step by step instructions for every task you do, you will be disappointed. The nicest group of people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Cons
There are certain departments that have slowed in their growth. If only their skill-set could be expanded in order to assist the engineers, and streamline further their processes. Field engineers aren't the only qualified individuals for in-house tickets. Perks and benefits are average, and expenses are typically under heavy scrutiny. Over time, however, these expand for the better.
