Pros

Free fruit, toast and coffee

Cons

- Office is located in an industrial park, no places for lunch, etc. - Disorganised company, ‘we’re a family’ type of attitude with no boundaries or clear goals, tasks, role breakdown - Managers are poorly trained, not great with computers, most jobs are dumped on people below - Toxic environment, rude management who can’t make decisions, decisions are made on whatsapp between managers, nothing gets put in writing - No flexibility unless you’re friends or family of the directors - No sick pay, minimum holidays - If you’ve been in the industry for longer than 5 years you won’t learn anything here - High staff turnover, most people coming from professional companies don’t usually last longer than a year - a lot of gossip, closed door conversations, no visibility, people leaving without being allowed to say goodbye, low morale in general, frequent changes in department structures and operations - the office is a warehouse without windows, fresh air, aircon, heating - everyone in one room where you can’t hear each other speak

Pros

Very creative environment as you would expect in fashion.

Cons

Well. I’ve taken some time to write this as I wanted to emotions to die down a bit, but after a year it feels like the right time. This was the most indescribably sexist working environment I’ve ever encountered. 99% female office I was the only other male. If the situation was reversed then I’d currently be in court proceedings. Imagine the worst sexism from the 1970’s and reverse the roles. Women are far worse than men when it comes to this. Appalling behaviour. Nasty vicious gossip. Personal remarks. If any woman working there was treated like that in a male dominated working environment she’d be screaming blue murder but apparently as it’s “just girls” it’s ok to treat a man like it. Utter hypocrisy. It shed light on the lie about “equality” because when the shoe was on the other foot they wore WORSE than men.
