Great pay and flexibility, but communication issues exist - In Home Caregiver New Horizons In-Home Care Employee Review

Everything is a pro!! The most flexible work schedule I have ever had! The clients are a joy and are the best part of my day. The New Horizons employees are so helpful and kind , I absolutely love it there.

I honestly do not have any cons.

The clients appreciate you. They really do, and they'll let you know how happy they are to have you. This job does make a real difference in people's lives day by day. A lot of independence and trust is placed in you as a CG. I appreciate that.

You never really know what you're walking into. No matter what the care plan says there will often times be issues not stated in the care plan, no matter how many questions you ask for clarification. Usually environmental challenges. Clients normally get 40 reimbursable miles a month and after those are gone (they go quick), its at the caregivers expense to run errands for the client.
