I work in Nexperia/ITEC as a software engineer around 2 years. The machines are really complex to understand, but the environment is friendly. There is a lot to learn. There are very good software gurus here, and they are really helpful to teach something
Cons
there are many managers, and still they are hiring managers but not technical people. As of March 2023, we are losing many technical people to some other companies, but Nexperia still behaves like a cheap company. There is a huge techinal debt. Systems are extremely complex, we try to maintain 30 years old software/systems. There is no documentation at all, you need to ask questions to some other people. They are really helpful, but some people are shy by nature and do not ask questions, so this is not a place for them. Also working with internal customers (other Nexperia fabs in China or Maleysia) extremely stressfull. Without knowing even the general overview of the system, you can find yourself in front of the customer. and it is sometimes extremely stressfull.
