Pros
Some... SOME... of the people at NLC are great people. Actually, most are good people, but one is not. Think "rise and fall of Mars Hill" and I'm sure you can guess who.
Cons
The lead "pastor" (I wouldn't call him that). He'll read this review and tell the staff to go on a "let's go on next door and sing NLC's praises because we got one bad review to hide the truth" campaign. They've done it before! The organization had so much potential but Josh Gagnon is the downfall of it. He will do whatever it takes to make more money including abandoning the Northeast to "get resources from Florida to bring back up north". False. It's more like "move completely to Florida, and rebuild down there where no one can smell the wolf in sheep's clothing". I genuinely feel bad for everyone else on staff who has to follow him. They all deserve so much better, and need a REAL leader/pastor, not someone who has their own agenda for fame and fortune. More people have been called OUT of ministry than into it at NLC. More families have been broken as a part of NLC. Yes, it's large, but it grew through the blood and on the bodies of those sacrificed for that chance to become "something great". Don't fool yourself and become one of the martyrs.
