Great Company - Software Engineer NextUp Solutions Employee Review

I loved my time at NextUp Solutions. The team was very close and would have regular check-ins on a one-to-one basis and as a whole team. The CEO was very involved in the day-to-day operations and always went out of his way to make any of the employees feel listened to. The management here really listened to the feedback of the other employees and would implement the changes suggested. The training team was awesome (huge shout-out to Jen and Danny)! The benefits are great too!

NextUp has defined what job satisfaction looks like for me: fantastic colleagues, a space to speak up for everyone, a CEO who cares about individual success, strong salary and benefits, and flexibility that accommodates life's challenges (even pre-COVID). The work is more meaningful than your typical tech company given its focus on education, but the people are what make NextUp truly special. I enjoy my work and colleagues so much that I never find myself rushing to sign off, though everyone is encouraged to take the time they need.

As with any small company, we wear many hats. This isn't necessarily a con, but a challenge that is often more rewarding than not.
