Pros
1. Pay (in some areas) 2. Work/Life Balance - most managers are compassionate with things like funerals, births, accidents but it is beginning to shift away from that as well
Cons
1. Management - too many managers, too much micro-managing, not enough respect for field personnel, techs, and lower level employees, smoke screen where they appear like they care but if you speak up you get punished, many current managers lack experience and credibility, several insecure managers that bully 2. Benefits - cost has been increasing and actual benefits decreasing 3. Advancement or career opportunities - you have to know someone and know how to "flatter" upper management 4. Unhappy workforce - many are complaining from all different departments 5. Politics - on every level 6. An extreme focus on inclusion and diversity - to the point of watching everything you say and do because one little word can be taken the wrong way instantly and cause punishment (over indulgence of political correctness) Employee mentality is shifting towards - "I can't wait to retire and get away from there," "This company used to be great to work for," "I'm looking elsewhere because there is no future here," etc...
