Not for everyone - Content Writer Niche Website Builders Employee Review

Thanks for sharing your experience. We understand that this role is not for everyone and certainly at this time there was a very vocal group expressing their concerns (as is highlighted by many reviews in quick succession here on glassdoor!). Whilst you found the 5k target unattainable, we have a very high percentage of writers that are able to achieve this. It sounds daunting from the outside but we have extremely good processes in place that have been honed over 2 years that make this eminently possible. That includes time for editing and proofreading. It's undoubted that this role requires an organised individual but if you are able to be disciplined in this way then this role is very rewarding. It would be illegal for us to pay under minimum wage so of course as a business we make sure that this is not the case. We have a people and culture representative in the company now that ensures that staff are listened to and that we meet all legal obligations. I think it's fair to say that we've retained a very high percentage of our best writers. We have many writers that have been with us for over 2 years now and continue to do a great job. We also have a management team in place that have all been writers at NWB before moving into these positions that support their teams to ensure they are as successful as they can be in their role. Our retention rates are also well above industry averages. I'm sorry that this role did not work out for you but we wish you all the success in future roles.
