Pros
Location is Ahmadabad. Good Connectivity and campus.
Cons
I joined the technology division here after completing my PhD and postdoctoral research at institutions of international standard. However, most of the existing faculty hold PhDs from local universities, including Nirma University or other private institutions of questionable reputation. They often make life difficult for new recruits from prestigious institutes, viewing them as potential threats. Their English-speaking skills are often poor, comparable to an Indian street vendor trying to sell products to foreigners. There is an overwhelming focus on marketing and superficial achievements, with no real substance. Nirma rewards those who engage in fraudulent research, publications, and patents—where only quantity matters, not quality.
