Pros
Nice office with parking and walk up to door. Eventually work from home was allowed (although some people worked 100% remotely strangely enough). They had this mini store front in their building where you paid on your owner with self service check out. Again nice building.
Cons
Very immature, unprofessional people in my dept that I worked with. I can only speak of the people I worked with which was a small subset. People yelling at one another. People working against one another. Everyone wanted to be the boss. At first I thought the managers supported this. But then I realized that they were victims of this atmosphere in a way. They appeared afraid of the groups that formed. So the mgrs let the group run amok which caused issues on projects. Cliques formed everywhere and they ran everything it appeared. For example if one of them had a preferred database that was the database you used even if it didn't make sense for the project. It was hard to have discussions with various people as they behaved as if they resented anyone having input. Also there was this culture where everyone was listening to everything you said (cube environment) and they would go and tell others. This attitude applied to everyone from the receptionist up. Just not a pleasant work environment. Just not a place where I felt like my efforts were allowed or appreciated. Claimed that there were little to no lay offs but happened twice that I know of.
