Pros

The people are generally great. Some very bright minds. As the business re-aligns itself to a consultancy-based model, there is huge potential for growth. If you're into that, the office space is in a funky hotdesking building. If your technical skills are good, and the business succeeds in re-positioning itself in the direction its aimed, personal growth potential is massive.

Cons

The current customer base is not representative of what the business wants to be in the future. There seems to be a lack of acceptance that current clients are only concerned with getting the cheapest service possible, and are not interested in improving their businesses by investing in technology. Technology being supported is non-standard, dated and unsuitable for the job - leading to problems that cannot be accurately diagnosed or fixed remotely. A recent office move was extremely badly managed, and led to a massive number of employees leaving at the same time, with no plan to replace them.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for recognising some of the many positives of the Company’s future trajectory. We were disappointed that not all of your working experience with us has been positive. We were also quite surprised by some comments considering your position and the direct responsibility and management you had in so many of the areas you deem as a failure and that were poorly managed. Clearly it is very sad for us that you have taken so many aspects of your role so personally. We always listen, and we value our staff very highly, we are hugely proud to have an abundance of valued and very talented staff, many whom have been working for the Company since its inception over 10 years ago. The Company has a very clear and focussed strategy but like any business we recognise that transitional periods can be challenging and unsettling for all involved, and of course at times difficult decisions have to be made. Our customer base and ensuring their expectations are met is always a top priority. When a Manager (or any staff member) is unable to perform to the required standard, Senior Managers will need to act and in some circumstances micromanagement of particular staff is the only way. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you the very best for your future.

Pros

Working for Nomical was great, I enjoyed working with the people as they were extremely friendly and helpful. You have direct access to CEO and founder level management as it is a small company, meaning you have everyones ear if you need anything. Nomical have incredibly intelligent people wprking for them that will do their best to help you daily if you need it, I had a great time learning about the company, its operations and my role when I first joined, any question I had, it was answered immediately as everyones ready to help. They are also extremely flexible and understanding of any situation you may be in, so you can be honest with them and you will be listened to. Overall Nomical is great and everyone's cool, I will be staying in touch ! I'd strongly recommend this company to anyone wanting to join them or anyone that needs their services !

Pros

None, day to day a chore, like an omnibus edition of Eastenders.

Cons

Lack of inspiration and managed by whether your face fit or if you say yes to everything rather than challenge the status quo. Dependency on leaders with little skill and experience in leading with poor track record for achieving historically.
