Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you would not recommend Norbar as a place to work. I am pleased that you found the workload and working hours reasonable. Work / life balance is important to us.
I note that your review was sometime ago and there have been many changes within the business. I am sure that if you were working for Norbar now you would have a different viewpoint.
Thank you again for your comments and we wish you continued success in your career.
Comfortable working conditions, Good work force! Men and Women on the shop floor are very friendly and welcoming. Great shift patterns!
Cons
Norbar got brought by Snap-on Tools a number of years ago, since the buy out there has been a constant cut to terms and conditions and benefits! Bonus scheme has been drastically cut and thresholds to achieve a bonus have been made almost impossible to achieve. The annual Christmas shutdown has been abolished from 2025 showing family balance isn’t a priority the company! No longer a company Christmas party!
There is a bullying culture within the company from senior and middle management towards shop floor employees which has been allowed to continue to this day without any consequences!
