Pros
- Great for starting artists. if you haven't done any professional work as a game artists and may lack some experience in basic photoshop or other software functions, and basic workflow methods/steps you will be able to learn all this while working on projects at the same time. - steady schedule. -lots of games/tabletop things to spend your lunch break on with coworkers
Cons
-this varies form team to team, as there are several - but you might be working with one that has more of an unhealthy work management/bad communication. some people have quit because of this. but there are other teams where communication is not an issue and people seem to enjoy the environment there. -after a couple of years of work you might still be in the exactly same position as you started out and therefore feel unmotivated and not developing in your field anymore. -sometimes management can be too strict about the work hours. you might get awkward notice letters if you are late even just by a minute as well as if you decide to leave on time when you are starting out. For newcomers it is often expected that they stay longer in the workplace than 6 pm. to show initiative.
