Pros
I found the culture to be appealing. Those that are non-managers are the backbone and heart of Northside. They're also genuine and have integrity. Those at the manager level and up are incompetent puppets on a string.
Cons
1) Compensation - Seems to be a morale killer when the highest paid CEO in hospital-based care in Atlanta is at Northside (source: AJC). Don't expect a 3% merit raise each year, either. 2) Promotion - It is non-existent unless you are a puppet. If you have the right credentials and experience, your best option for advancement is to leave after a reasonable time. 3) Experience - Employment decisions are not based on experience, but what school the applicant went to or some type of minimally-applicable experience someone had to the job. 4) Systems - As Northside is expanding, an investment should be made into an ERP. Efficiency could be made a lot better.
