I enjoyed working for Northside because they offered highest pay rate, health insurance rate and package are very affordable, they are the only healthcare company offered pension plan.

Cons

The driving distance from my home... (21 miles.)

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
