Pros
Fantastic products, great work/life balance, flat hierarchy with high level of autonomy, real job satisfaction helping founder build their tech businesses from the ground up.
Cons
Nova business model has been heavily reliant on cooperation of HMRC to issue EIS & SEIS certificates. Unfortunately, blockages in this process have resulted in mass redundancies (50% or more) on at least 2 occasions, with staff told they no longer have jobs effective immediately. This is awful for those losing their jobs and thoroughly demorilising for the remaining employees. Also salaries are below market standard for the role and level of responsibility required.
