Pros
There aren't any pros besides the fact you get to experience some SIEMS.
Cons
Everything, be ready for massively inexperienced management leading to them making stupid decisions and not doing anything to help the morale of the SOC. You will be severely underpaid and could make the same even more flipping burgers. If you are someone who seeks to receive mentorship this company won't help you at all. They expect you to figure it out on your own and think that they should have no part in the furtherment of your education. There are some issues with conflict of interests and ethics. I am surprised the company has not been sued. A specific story is that the girlfriend of a manager was hired and then she was promoted quickly over other more qualified analysts. The Executives are so out of touch it's ridiculous. The company experiences massive turnover and the executives are confused by it since they don't understand what the market value for a SOC analyst is. The CEO called the SOC analysts monkeys. If you want to avoid getting your life sucked then do not work here.
