Cons

I wanted to add this to the “working at” category to ensure this gets as much exposure as possible. I was interviewed originally in August 2018 and was verbally offered a position with relocation to Prague with a start date to be confirmed for January. I received an email on the 14th Jan with my name misspelled advising me that they would not move ahead with my hire. I tried to secure a lawyer to help me recover my loss of earnings, as I had turned down another role to focus on this opportunity. Unfortunately, these cases are difficult to win, which makes it all the easier for large companies like Novartis to treat people like dirt. I now go into another month with no income, no apology from Novartis and no reassurance they will look at their process. It SHOULD NOT take 2 months to turn down a candidate. The interview process is a shambles from start to finish and I should not have to go through the situation i am now in because they couldnt make their mind up about my role. Totally horrendous, please think twice about working for a company who hold their potential candidates in such contempt.
