Pros

By far the best reason to work at Novator is the people. A large portion of the employees start as students; perhaps even a majority. Due to the common circumstances new employees find themselves in there is a very strong sense of community within the office.I can testify to forming some great friendships that outlasted my stay there. There is also the chance to work with some very big clients. Not all clients are massive, but the ones that are are blockbusters in their respective industries.

Cons

The worst part of working at Novator is the frustration of working with a legacy code base that can result in a lot of headaches. If you care deeply about code quality then you might find it difficult to work within a system that doesn't value those principles.

Pros

- Amazing culture with amazing people. The software took a turn for the worst when we migrated from Perl to Java but nevertheless, the company did its best to stay afloat - Massages, $400 for health membership/year, free lunches are just some of the great things this company had to offer

Cons

- Novator hired some bright people near the end who unfortunately lacked any form of social skills. - Some really self centered, narcissistic people who complained about inheriting bad software at every chance, and then when given the opportunity to change it, left.

Pros

A family owned business with a very friendly and trusting athmostphere. If/when I move back to Sweden I want to work there again.

Cons

Much of the work is as consultant at the customer's site, so you don't get to work with your co-workers at Novator unless you get a in-house project.
