I can speak mostly for the Product leadership, and it is terrible.
The CPO is a good designer, and that's it... and that's the biggest problem. Even though he's supposed to drive a team and the vision for a Product, he spends most of his time designing, nit pickying about minor details, so we are always running in circles, never deliverying anything and not sure about what's the problem that we need to solve and what's the users expected outcomes. No sense of priority, sequence or scope... it's a constant try, don't test with users, and change everything because they gave it a second thought. Or design, don't test, spend time developing just to see it's flawed and start all over again.
The best he could do in terms of feedback was constantly say to everyone "you are not going fast enough", but even his own designs were packed with confusing ideas that he had a hard time showcasing, so didn't help us moving faster.
They would change the way we approach product almost on a weekly basis. Started with PRDs, then, all of sudden, no more PRDs. Move to Storymaps. Lasted 10 days. Then pure wireframing. The product team now revolves around Figma, everything is done there in a very unefficient manner. Never saw a single piece of research nor usability testing. When reviewing designs you have to go with the CPOs gut feeling and hope you are able to read his mind. Also, the CPO would constantly go into a designer's file and change stuff, out of the blue. Minor UI stuff, not necessarily improving, just making it his own way. He would sometimes also deeply criticize a design and then use this ideas in his designs. Icing on the cake: CPO would go into really long monologues, that maybe he thought was inspiring, but, was actually and ego shower. He went as far as saying (and sort of bragging) that he was once called a "self-esteem killer", and I saw some young designers feeling constantly sad. It was a circus, so, if you care about your career and mental wellbeing as a designer, avoid this place at all costs.
