      Pros

      - Great team - A lot of very technical people to discuss ML and stats - DS works very close to the business - DS intensive projects are really impactful and important to the company's OKRs

      Cons

      Nubank grows so fast that it sometimes get a little bit chaotic. It has the effect of generating a lot of changes in career, organization, roadmap, and priorities in a short period of time.

      Pros

      Lots of exciting bets being made, many growth opportunities, very smart people who also know how to have work life balance

      Cons

      Priorities shift a lot which can be frustrating, but that's part of the game of fintech (very fast moving)

      High level of competence of colleagues You're never the most experienced or highest skilled person in your team Constantly learning and career growing Freedom to explore new technologies Very data-oriented Very technical oriented managers Clojure shop Well-tested, well crafted, always improving code solutions

      Cons

      Executive level decisions sometimes are big-bang and not gradual Promotion strategy isn't based on performance but on the existence of an open role
