Pros
Paid time off (largely unheard of in the industry) and health benefits. Large walk in clientele and excellent location. Lots of Aveda network educators brought in. Ability to earn bonuses.
Cons
Inconsistent policies, prefers to start new projects instead of perfect failing systems. High turnover. Management and support staff struggle to book appointments and run the salon. Inventory, scheduling and overcrowding are huge issues. Often times you go in for a shift and you don’t have a station. The education and assistant program constantly changes with no notice so stylist training is highly inconsistent. The product charge to stylists is draining on a paycheck.
