Cons
Where to start... The company will never mature with it current management. It may grow but will never become a well oiled machine or handle a downturn in the market. The unrealistic timelines on new products (aka. re-branding of failed products). The focus on top-line revenue only. More concerned with public perception than actual corporate health (CMO is amazing at his job, truly). Managing cash flow at the risk of supplier contractual terms. These are just a few of the lowlights from a corporate perception. Unless you are in sales, the work life balance is atrocious. There is no advancement unless you hire in as an intern or fit into the "inner circle" (or boys club as other mention). There is obvious sexism but with a young and inexperienced HR team, little will be done. Know that unless you are upper management, get used to seeing their flashy cars and hearing of their lascivious trips (yes business trips too) while wondering why you are paid under market value. There is constant turn over. Lack of vision from management outside of revenue goals (catching a theme here yet?) The list could go on, but this is not to bash the company. Overall: The fast paced environment is fun and the perks do help if you partake in them. If you are looking for a career, you may want to really contemplate your decision here. You can learn a lot quickly, but long term commitment may be an issue.
