DO NOT WORK HERE!!! It’s a culture of only Canadian workers are promoted in Corporate jobs now. Only 23-26 year olds with no life experience are promoted to upper levels. It’s a toxic environment where everyone walks around on eggshells and where we used to be happy with hybrid, only to be called back to work to have “collaboration” only to have team meetings on a laptop (that can be used anywhere) & wondering if they are next to be let go in the US. The HR director said all US jobs are safe and able to be promoted but that is yet to be seen as Canadian candidates are preferred and hired. They promote “summer hours” in the US during a very slow season where you have to work a 9 hour day, rather than 8, only to come in and still drive in on a Friday for a half day. The corporate employees work extremely hard and have so much work in February-May, why not give them something to look forward to in the summer months (summer hours) or go back to hybrid 3 days a week or Friday’s remote.
